Uninstall App From Any Screen

Android 6.0 Marshmallow gives the ability to uninstall an app on home screen or on any screen. You just need to simply long-press the app and drag the app icon towards the top of the screen for Remove or Uninstall option.

App Permissions

Google has added a great feature called App Permission. It let users to pick and choose which permission will an app have during installation. You can also manage all their app permission in settings.

System UI Tuner

User interface tuner is available after enabling the developer option. You just need to enable the UI toner in the Developer Option under device Settings.

In System UI Tuner, tap on Quick Settings and you will be able to add tiles and toggles around or delete toggles.

 

RAM Manager

Android Marshmallow comes with a new RAM manager, which gives the ability to force stop the app if necessary. Go to Settings >> Memory >> Memory and select the option used by app to show up a list of all apps using maximum memory.

Activate Google Now from the lock screen

You can use the Google Now to call someone by just speaking on the lock screen. Simply swipe from the bottom left-hand corner of the lock screen to activate Google Now and receive your voice command.

Google Now on Tap one of the best feature in the Android Marshmallow. You can bring up the Google Now on Tap from any app, simply by selecting text and long-pressing the Home button.

Android Marshmallow comes with a new Doze features that automatically puts the smartphone into sleep state, when it detects that you haven't picked it up in a while to save the battery.

Unlock with just a touch

Android Marshmallow comes with fingerprint sensor making it even more secure. You can unlock the device using the fingerprint sensor with just a touch.

Unlock developer mode

Developer option give more customization option to your phone. You can do enable developer mode by going to Settings >> About Phone and tap seven times continuously on the Build Number.

Customize Silent mode

Android Marshmallow allows you to customize your notifications by few options like Priority and Do Not Disturb. Go to Settings >> Sound and Notification >> Do Not Disturb >> Priority Only / Do Not Disturb.
