How to Respond to Messages Directly from Any Screen on Android
When the Android N platform is released this fall, it will bring a new feature known as Quick Reply. This feature will allow users to respond to the incoming messages right from the notifications.
This is a very nice feature that has been highly anticipated by the Android users as it is possible to carry on a conversation from any screen without leaving what they were doing. However, most device users will not receive the Android N update for a considerable time.

Reply to messages with Notify
The app displays a chathead-style notification bubble that will let you respond to the incoming messages from any screen. This works for the apps such as Hangouts, WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook Messenger, Google Messenger, and more.
This Notify app is available for free via the Google Play Store. Download and install it on your Android device first.

Mostly, it will be already granted and you just have to tap on the option stating "receive notifications". Then, enable the entry on the next screen and tap on "Allow" on the pop-up that appears.
Change the options for the Messaging apps
On the main menu of the app, you will get the compatible messaging apps that are installed on your phone. The Notify bubble like the Facebook chathead will be enabled by default, but it can be turned off for any app if you don't want it using the toggle given next to it.
There are Settings for every app that is compatible and you can adjust the options as per the apps. You can also change the color of the notification interface using the in-app purchase option.
That's it! When you get a new message on any of the compatible messaging apps, you will see the message along with a Reply field beneath it. All you need to do is just tap on it to bring the keyboard and type the response without leaving the screen or app that you are in.
