This tutorial will explain and guide you on how to install TWRP 2.8.6.0 Recovery tool on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge with model number G925T.
If you are used to install updates and flash the device via ODIN on Samsung Galaxy devices, then this will not be any different for you. For beginners, read every single point and steps carefully before performing the installation on your handset.
Points to Remember
This installation guide for TWRP 2.8.6.0 recovery installation is only for Galaxy S6 Edge G925T. (Do not try on any other variants of Galaxy S6 Edge.
Backup all the important data and additional files from the device before proceeding to installation.
The TWRP 2.8.6.0 Recovery will work on Android 5.0.2 operating system and will also support all future Android updates.
Ensure your Galaxy S6 Edge should be G925T model.

TWRP 2.8.6.0 Recovery package for Galaxy S6 Edge
Complete Step-by-step Installation Guide:
Step 1: Extract the TWRP 2.8.6.0 recovery packed, which you download earlier, to your computer.
Step 2: Install ODIN v3.09 to your computer. (Please refer installation guide provided with ODIN v3.09)
Step 3: Switch off the smartphone and turn your phone in to Download Mode.
To turn on Download Mode: press and hold the Volume Down + Home button + Power button together.
Step 4: Ensure Galaxy S6 Edge drivers are installed on your computer.
Step 5: Open ODIN on your computer, connect your Galaxy S6 Edge to your computer while your phone is in Download Mode.
Step 6: If the S6 Edge is connected successfully, one of the ID:COM boxes (in the ODIN application) will turn yellow with the COM port number. (This might take some time to complete).
Step 7: Now, click on 'PDA' / 'AP' and select the file you downloaded earlier and extracted in the step 1
Step 8: In ODIN, check the 'Auto Reboot' and 'F. Reset Time' options. (By default both, boxes will be selected).
Step 9: Now click on the 'Start' button in ODIN. Installation process will start and will take a few minutes to complete.
Step 10: After installation completes, the S6 Edge will reboot into Recovery Mode automatically and the ID:COM box in ODIN will turn green.
Step 11: After this, once your smartphone starts, unplug the device from the computer.
