How to Make Google Chrome Browser Fast Again: A Step-by-Step Guide
If you're having problems connecting or staying connected to internet using Google Chrome browser you're not alone. Extensions and browsing data can slow your browser or make it vulnerable to crash.
Although there are other alternatives available as well, but no one comes close to Google Chrome when it comes to browsing speed. Common problems associated with Google Chrome browser can be fixed.
In this post we'll go over some tips and tricks that should get this problem resolved.
Tip No.1
When you install Chrome browser, many unwanted plugins are enabled automatically. They are not required in our daily browsing. So it's always better to disable plugins as can slow down browsing speed. To disable plugins, type "about:plugins" in the address bar of Chrome and press Enter. Scroll through the list and click the Disable link for each plugin you feel you don't require.
Tip No.2
Have you ever install extensions available in the Google Chrome store? They can be useful but if you often install them, the browser speed may be compromised. However, you can disable them without installing them. Well, the process is simple to disable extensions. All you need to find your list of installed extensions and select Tools -> Extensions from the drop-down menu.
Tip No.3
Google recently launched a new tool that will actually help you clean up your Chrome browser. Basically, it will remove malware that infects your browser and makes browsing speed slow. Make sure you navigate to www.google.com/chrome/srt/ and click the Download now button.
Tip No.4
Malware affects your browser badly, so to avoid such issues, an anti-malware solution remove spyware. Download Malwareytes, a free anti-malware software.
Tip No.5
To clear your entire browsing history, click the toolbar option and select Tools -> Clear browsing data from the drop-down menu.
Tip No.6
If you want to delete the history for only specific webpages, click the toolbar and select History from the drop-down menu. Once you select a particular webpage you want to remove, click Remove selected items.
