Ever since, YouTube’s integration with Google, it has been a pleasure to watch YouTube videos inside Google+ Hangouts. There was one feature that was missing, that was the ability to share whole playlist of videos.
For example, i am a huge fan of ‘Friends’ television series. For seeing every episode of this TV series, i will have to sit and opt for each episode and view it one after one. I have always wished if I could watch them as a series of clips instead of trying to choose each episode one by one from YouTube.
Now thanks to YouTube, they have introduced an app that resolves this issue. The new app in YouTube will help you to create a playlist of video files so that they can be played together in a set sequence. More over you can share them with your friends, as well.
With the new app, users will be able to
Create the playlist
Control the playlist
Save the playlist
Share the Playlists of your favourite videos with your friends
All these functionalities will be present in the app within the Google+ Hangouts. You will just have to start a Hangout and then can have everyone to load the YouTube app on the top of their screen. You can also start adding the videos. Thus, you will be able to have your own list of videos by launching this YouTube app in Google+ Hangouts.
The app is also designed in such a way that it allows people to interact with the playlists. These playlists can be also saved for viewing them later.
Working of the application
The detailed working of this app includes
Users can add videos in the Hangouts by means of a search tool that is included inside this app
Videos can also be removed if the user does not like it
Now all of your friends that are present in the hangout can easily drag and drop the videos for sorting the playlist order
The friends can also skip forward or backward for playing the next video in the playlist
For chatting with the group of friends on the playlists, you can tap on the option that denotes ‘Push to talk’
This app will be available in more than sixty languages. This is how you can build your own YouTube Playlists in Google+ Hangouts.
