How to connect a mobile phone to PC with Bluetooth?
Capturing images from your smartphone and transferring it to your personal computer by means of using a data cable for data transfer! This is what most of the users commonly do. But how many of you know that your favorite mobile phone can be connected to your personal computer wirelessly by means of Bluetooth? Here are the following steps that have to be followed in order to connect your mobile phone to the personal computer.
In order to activate the Bluetooth on your personal computer:
Users will have to Click Start button tab
Then in the search box, type ‘Services.msc’
Click ‘Enter’ button that is present on the keyboard
This will result in the launch of ‘Services’ window
From the services list, Right click the option ‘Bluetooth’
From the pop-up menu, click ‘Properties’
In Properties, click General tab
Select the start up type as ‘Automatic’
Save it by clicking OK
Go back to the ‘Services’ window
Again Right click the ‘Bluetooth Services’
Press Start from Pop-up menu
Finally close the service window and the users will have to return back to the desktop
Now the users will again have to click the ‘Search’ option and in the box they will have to type ‘Bluetooth’ and then hit Enter. The Bluetooth service window will pop up.
Select ‘Change Bluetooth Settings’
Select ‘Options Tab’
Then check mark ‘Allow Bluetooth devices to find this Computer’ that will be present under the ‘Discovery’ option
Then again check mark ‘Alert me when a new Bluetooth device wants to connect’
Hit ‘Apply’
Finally Click OK
Thus Bluetooth has been activated on your personal computer.
Now the users will have to activate the smartphone or mobile phone they have. The following steps have to be followed:
Press ‘Menu’ key
Click Settings
In Settings page, click ‘Wireless and network’
Then click ‘Bluetooth Settings’
Now the users will have to click the “Bluetooth’ option in Bluetooth Settings list
Click ON to activate the Bluetooth
Change Visibility option to ‘Always Visible’
Connecting the devices
Click Start
In search box, type ‘Bluetooth’ and hit Enter
In the Bluetooth window, click ‘Add a Bluetooth Device’
Now the windows will search for your smartphone
Click the option titled ‘Pair without using a code’
Then enter the ‘Passkey’
Then click Next
Finally click “close’ after the two devices are connected with each other. Now your smartphone is connected to your personal computer wirelessly by means of Bluetooth. And the files can be easily transferred wirelessly from the mobile phone to the personal computer from now onwards.
