How to hide all browser tabs in one click?
Sometimes you need privacy while browsing and wish to preserve it with even family and friends. There is a way out for you in google chrome. The internet users can keep up the privacy by setting a password on the Chrome. This chrome version restores all the tabs that you have been using by setting a keybind.
So the user need not have to click on the icon on the tool bar. The procedure for turning the Web browser into a hiding tab is as described below.
The first and foremost thing that you have to do is to install the Panic Button Extension from the Chrome web store. After giving a tap on the “Add to Chrome” option a window will pop up. After that “Click install”.
Now proceed by clicking on the red button that displays an exclamation mark to hide all your tabs. You can restore it whenever you need it by just giving a tap.
After that click on the right button and choose options.
Here you will be provided with an explicit key for hiding the tabs that you have opened or you can choose a password in order to protect them.
Thus you can set up a “safe page” which will replace the hidden tab.
For Firefox:
Install the Panic Button add-on after downloading it from the Firefox add-on warehouse. Suddenly a pop up window appears. Click install on this window.
After installing it successfully restart the Firefox.
In order to save your tabs, click on the button with an orange exclamation on it and then close the browser.
Right click on the menu bar if you don’t see the button. After customizing it drag the button to the other tools.
If you find it very uneasy to close the browser each time after using it, you can modify the settings by opening the main menu. Go to Add-ons and then tap on the options button which is near to the Panic Button in the menu.
By making use of the Panic Button the user can easily adjust the minimizing or hiding settings of the tab. The F9 key can be disabled effortlessly which helps in hiding of the tabs. You can also alter the look of the icons on the toolbar by using the Panic Button.
