How to pause Live TV using set top box?
Gone are the days when you buy a set up box that is able to merely receive the satellite signals and displaying it in Television. Recording a live broadcast as well as playing it and pausing it were absolutely impossible in those days! But now those technological limitations are a matter of the past!
Technology has advanced itself in such a way that now users can have a more live television experience by playing and pausing whenever they wish to do the same. The only requisite for having this real-time TV experience is a new set top box. In an emerging country like India, the common set top box providers include Tata Sky, Reliance Big TV and also Airtel and Dish TV. The signals will be transmitted in Full High Definition.

If the HDMI port is absent in the TV, and then the connection will be established from the component video input of DVR on to the TV.
This leads to the passage of signals from DVR to TV in full definition.
If both HDMI port as well as Component Video is absent, then it’s preferable to establish the composite video connection from DVR to TV.
Users can also establish a connection from HDMI port that is present in the set top box in to the corresponding TV. In this scenario, users can very well switch off their DVR completely.
This allows the passage of signals from the set top box that you have connected in to the corresponding TV.
The signals will be transmitted in Full High Definition.
