How To Unlock Your Android Smartphone With Your Face

Google introduced Face Unlock in Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Basically it acts as an alternative to screen locks other than a pattern or a Pin. Well, this feature isn't as secure as Apple's TouchID, but still worked great in our testing.

The basic idea behind Face Unlock is damn simple: the handset's camera scans your face for a second, then compares it to one or more previously saved head shots. It's definitely a great feature, but we hardly use this feature, as it is still an unknown tool.
