However, CheapCast isn't available on the Google Play store anymore. Instead you could grab the .APK file of the app from Google (there will be dozens) and install it on your phone via an APK installer.

Once that's out of the way, to convert your phone/tablet into Chromecast, you will require an HDMI cable so that you can connect the device to your TV. Every other new age TV these days come with at least one HDMI port.

Now a common HDMI cable won't be able to fit inside the USB point of a phone. For that, there are two alternatives. Either you buy an OTG to connect your HDMI and phone together, or you buy a three way pin that's available online that has a more direct approach.
