However, there is a trick with which a 3G dongle user, if unhappy with their current dongle service, can unlock the dongles and can use any operator SIM you prefer, without spending on buying a new dongle.

TRICKS: Unlock your dongle, and use any SIM you want

STEP 1: Download and install DC-Unlocker

STEP 2: After installing, connect your 3G dongle, enter the modem manufacturer and model or you can also click on Auto Detection option

STEP 3: Scan your device, and click on 'Unlocking' option to unlock your dongle

Another way to unlock your 3G dongle:

STEP 1: Download and Install Install Universal Master Code

STEP 2: Enter the modem manufacturer and model of the dongle

STEP 3: Connect the 3G dongle and enter the new SIM that you want to use, and enter the IMEI of your dongle. Check the IMEI number at the back side of the modem

STEP 4: Click on the 'Calculate' option, to calculate the unlock code and Flash code, might take a few seconds

STEP 5: Enter the SIM you want to replace the old one with, and tap on 'Unlocking code' to unlock the dongle

Just in case if your dongle is not working with the new SIM even after unlocking, you have to upgrade your dongle firmware.
