How to Change the Default Download Location in Laptop
Often it happens that while either downloading video, images or any other document from Google, we miss out on the location the file has been saved on our PC or laptop.
In that case, we again have to repeat the download process, which is extremely time-consuming and annoying for anyone.

There has always been an instance of downloading a file, but not remembering where it got saved. So in case you forgot to manually change the location of the file to be saved, and not sure where the file got saved. There are a few simple ways that can solve this issue.

Follow these simple steps to change the download location of a file on your PC or laptop with which anyone can simply and easily download a file and it will automatically get saved in a location they wish it to get saved in.

Open Your Browser
Start open the browser where you want to download the file from. Search for the videos, files, images or anything else that you wish to download.
Change Settings
To simply change the download option in a laptop, all one needs to do is change the settings as per the requirement.
After opening the browser, go to the top right column and click on settings. There will appear a list of options to do several other things like opening new tab and others.

Click on Show Advanced Settings
From the list, you need to scroll down and click on 'show advanced' settings option. Click on the '+' sign that appears towards the right of the option.
Adjust the Download Settings
After clicking, there will appear another drop down list. Check the download list and adjust the settings there by putting in the download location in the place of the default location.
It will ask you to enter the location in this manner: UsersDownloads

Choose a Specific Location for Each Download
To choose a different location for every download, you can simply enable the 'Ask where to save each file before downloading' option under the Downloads option.
