You need to tap on the same and select it.
Turn Off Sounds, Vibration, Music
Once you have enabled the battery saver mode on Pokémon Go, you need to go to the Settings and turn off the sound effects, music as well as vibration. These will definitely improve the battery life and prevent from draining your smartphone's battery too fast.
Reduce the Screen Brightness
The well-known fact is to reduce the screen brightness to improve the battery life. You can do the same thing to make sure that the battery does not drain too fast even while you are playing Pokémon Go.
Use Offline Maps
Pokémon Go makes use of Google Maps to get the data to your smartphone. To do so, the game uses your data connection when you are out and this will definitely drain your smartphone's battery while you are indulged in playing the Pokémon Go.
To avoid battery drain, you can download the Google Maps for offline use that will improve the Pokémon Go performance. To download the Google Maps for offline use, you must choose the Settings menu and tap on Offline areas. Then press the + icon and use the map to draw a square area that you would like to download and hit Download.
Get a battery pack
If these methods fail work in enhancing the battery backup of your phone, you can purchase a portable power pack separately and plug it into your smartphone's USB or Lightning port and change it whenever needed.
