What is Touch Bar?
Touch Bar is a Multi-Touch enabled strip of glass built into the keyboard for instant access to the tools you want while operating the MacBook.
For example, it can be used to control the volume, access useful function like websites, zoom-in feature, bookmarks, etcc. While you browse web, tweak the brightness levels while you watch the movie and more.
Basically, the Multi-Touch strip can adapt itself to work seamlessly with whatever software application is on the screen.
Brightest Retina Display and a New Keyboard
In addition to Touch Bar, the new MacBook Pro also feature's Apple's brightest and most colorful Retina display yet.
However, Apple has not made any changes to the resolution. The new MacBook also has a more responsive keyboard, a larger Force Touch trackpad and an audio system with double the dynamic range.
Touch ID comes to MacBook Pro
Another highlight feature of the new MacBook Pro is the addition of Touch ID. This makes MacBookPro (2016) the first MacBook to sport a TouchID.
Touch ID is also integrated next to the Touch Bar, built right into the power button. It uses the same second-gen Touch ID sensor from iPhone 6S / 7 with a sapphire cover, and includes a new T1 chip with a local secure enclave for Apple Pay security.
With the Touch ID on MacBook Pro, you can quickly switch between accounts simply by tapping the button.
