Lenovo has officially taken the wraps off its latest convertible laptop in India, the Yoga 710. With the new Yoga 710, Lenovo claims to fulfill the needs of the laptop seekers who are looking for unconventional performance and longer battery life.

The convertible laptop boasts 180-degree rotatable hinge and weighs at 1.55kg with .58mm thickness, which is pretty decent and targets to rival against Apple MacBook Air which weighs at 1.35kg.

14-inch FHD IPS Multi-touch display

When first launched at MWC (Mobile World Congres) 2016 in Barcelona, Spain during February, the Yoga 710 convertible laptop came in two variants including 11-inch and 14-inch. In India, Lenovo has launched the 14-inch FHD IPS Multi-touch display variant. Moreover, this device comes with a unique hinge and touchscreen display, that allows the screen to flip around 360 degrees as well.

6th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU with 8GB RAM

Moving on, the Yoga 710 is powered by a 6th Gen Intel Core i7-6500U processor clubbed with 8GB  DDR4 RAM under the hood. With Nvidia GEFORCE 940MX graphic card, users can experience richer visuals and a faster-operating experience. Further, it has multilayer adaptive touchpad for smooth user experience.


This convertible comes with 256GB SSD for fast access to movies, pictures, and files without any hassles or having to use an external hard disk.

Windows 10 OS

The Lenovo Yoga 710 is shipped with Windows 10 OS along with built-in security features. With SSD-equipped, the Yoga 710 will boot in less than a minute, and often in seconds.

As per the company, the Yoga Y710 delivers battery up to 8 hours of activity on a single charge Dolby Certified Music.

The most promising feature of the Yoga 710 is its innovative antenna that physically integrates into the Yoga hinge, covering a greater surface area, and making signal strength 20 percent better and more stable, avoiding the problem of unreliable Wi-Fi connections among mobile users.

The addition of Dolby Audio Premium energizes entertainment with rich, powerful sound that dynamically adjusts audio to deliver home theater quality in a virtual surround sound experience.

The convertible laptop also comes along with an ultra-slim Yoga mouse, which is a multifunctional device that's wireless and can be converted into a remote control for media player, presentations and other applications. Lenovo Yoga 710 also comes along with additional accessories including Lenovo 500 2.0 Bluetooth Speaker, which has up to 270-degree stereo and an embedded microphone that lets you use it as a speakerphone. Powered by Bluetooth 4.0, the Lenovo 500 2.0 Bluetooth Speaker also supports NFC connectivity. It delivers up to 4 hours of playback and it comes priced at Rs. 4,290.

Lenovo 500 Earbud/In-ear Headphone

Lenovo 500 Earbud/In-Ear Headphone features innovative drilled holes. It includes a noise-canceling microphone, and boasts an ergonomic cap design and knot-resistant cable. GizBot has not got any update on the price and availability of this accessory.
