Xiaomi Notebook to feature a aluminum body

When it comes to the design perspective, the Xiaomi Notebook is likely to feature a sleek aluminum lightweight body. As per the rumors, the upcoming PC might look similar to the Apple's MacBook lineup that will make it a good looking laptop. Even a real life image of the device along with the Mi logo leaked online.

Three variants expected

The Xiaomi Notebook is expected to arrive in three display sizes such as 12.5-inch, 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch. If this turns out to be true, the Mi fans will surely be spoilt for choice.

The smallest and cheapest base variant

The 12.5-inch variant of the Xiaomi Notebook could be the smallest, cheapest and base-level variant. As per the existing rumors, this one will be powered by a modest Intel Atom processor, but there is not clear evidence for the same. Xiaomi is known for releasing cheap yet powerful devices, so it is likely to expect efficient processors such as Core i5 in the 12.5-inch model. But, if the Atom processor is going to be used in the Xiaomi Notebook, the device could be priced very low.

Large screen variant could be delayed

The large screen 15.6-inch variant of the Xiaomi Notebook might not be released anytime sooner. On the other hand, the two smaller variants are expected to be released soon. The smaller 12.5-inch model has already entered mass production.

An alleged PPT presentation has leaked the Notebook and most details. It shows the use of a Core i7-6700HQ processor teamed up with GTX 970 graphics, 16 GB RAM and 512 GB hard disk drive. The display is likely to have 4K resolution. The Standard edition is to arrive with Core i5-6200U processor, 8 GB RAM, HD 520 graphics and 256 GB of storage.

8 GB RAM onboard

The 13.3-inch Xiaomi Notebook variant is expected to employ a powerful Core i7-6500U processor that is teamed up with 8 GB of RAM. The laptop is likely to run on Windows 10 Pro. There could be a USB Type-C port to charge the device and there will not be a touch feature. There are rumors that the 13.3-inch variant of the Xiaomi Notebook is rumored to be priced around 3,000 Yuan (approx. Rs 30,000). If it is true, it will definitely be an amazing price tag for the laptop.

Pricing Too Leaks

The high-end variant of the Mi Notebook is to be priced at 6,699 Yuan (approx. Rs 67,000) and the Standard edition could be priced at 3,999 Yuan (approx. Rs 40,00).
