India’s First Dual Bootable device Datamini Dual Boot 2-in-1 launched at Rs 9,999

Remember the Micromax LapTab prototype which was showcased at the MWC, 2014 with a dual bootable OS? Sadly, the prototype device failed to make it to the market thanks to a dispute between Microsoft and Google. However it seems that thing have changed as Datamini has launched an all new dual bootable 2-in-1 in India.

Dual Bootable devices weren't available anywhere in the world till now except in China. Apparently the Chinese hell cared about the woes between Microsoft and Google. However that wasn't possible in India a year back.

The Datamini Dual Bootable 2-in-1 runs on either of Windows 10 and Android 5.1 (Lollipop). It sports a 10.1" HD (1280x800p) IPS display and is powered by a quad core Intel Atom Z3735F processor with cores clocked at 1.33GHz each (burst mode upto 1.86GHz).

The 2-in-1 comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. There's also an option of memory expansion via MicroSD card slot. The device further comes with a 5MP rear and a 2MP front facing camera. Under the hood is a 6600mAh battery which will possibly last through a day of heavy to moderate usage.

Additionally the Datamini Dual Boot 2-in-1 comes with calling facility (3G SIM slot). Other connectivity features includes WiFi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, Mini USB 2.0 and a Mini HDMI port. Surprisingly Datamini has also included a full sized USB port in the 2-in-1.

The Datamini Dual Boot 2-in-1 has been priced competitively at Rs 9,999. It is available only in black colour and will be available via Snapdeal.
