Samsung has launched two new smartphone under its new On series in India. The Galaxy On5 and the Galaxy On7. These two smartphone are dual-SIM, supports 4G connectivity, priced at Rs. 8.990 and Rs. 10,990 respectively. Both smartphones will go on sale starting tonight exclusively available on Flipkart. Samsung Galaxy On7 is a mid-range smartphone with some great specifications and feature. However, the smartphone will face a tough competition from hot selling smartphone like Moto G (3rd Gen). To give a better perspective on both device, we have compared both device. Read on to know more.

The Samsung Galaxy On7 comes with a bit larger display measuring 5.5 inch. The smartphone has a TFT display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels at 267ppi pixel density and there is no screen protection on the display like Corning Gorilla Glass.

On the other hand the Moto G (3rd Gen) sports a 5 inch IPS LCD display at a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The screen resolution is same as the Galaxy On7, but the pixel density is slightly larger at 294ppi. The display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Both smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 chipset clubbed with Adreno 306 GPU. The Galaxy On7 has a clock speed of quad-core 1.2GHz, while the Moto G (3rd Gen) runs on 1.4GHz quad-core processor.

There is also difference in RAM capacity. The Galaxy On7 comes with 1.5GB of RAM, while the third-gen Moto G come in two models: 1GB and 2GB of RAM. Both smartphones runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

Both smartphones share same camera pixel count. 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, autofocus, touch focus and face detection. There is also a 5 megapixel front-facing camera

The third-gen Moto G comes in two storage variants: 8GB and 16GB internal memory and has an option to expand memory using a microSD card up to 32GB. While, the Galaxy On7 has 8GB of internal storage and has a microSD card slot that can expand memory up to 128GB.
