Although we still like the Xperia Z2 but the successor seems to have impressed more. The combination of glass and aluminum coupled with front-facing speakers enhances the overall appeal.
At 7.3 thick, Xperia Z3 is slimmer than the predecessor. It even weighs lesser compared to rival handsets including Samsung Galaxy Alpha and more. The aluminum finish around the side of the phone is very impressive. The glass-made exterior on the back side is gorgeous. All in all, the Xperia Z3 is better suited for on-handed use.
The Sony Xperia Z3 is radically different from last year's model. This time Sony has integrated sharper screen and better cameras, among other things. Basically, the Xperia Z3 ships with a 5.2-inch IPS LCD screen having a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080. The screen size is pleasing, and at the same time it is bigger than the Galaxy S5 and the iPhone 6. We found that the device's screen showed more natural colors and has got an adaptive display mode where brightness is automatically adjusted depending on the environment. It's truly a magnificent screen, with a decent outdoor visibility.
The Sony Xperia Z3 runs the latest version of Google's Android mobile operating system (4.4 KitKat). The company also promises to update its newest handsets to the Android L update sometime next year. Sony has used its proprietary UI (user interface) layered on top of Android which works pretty smooth. Moreover, Sony does packs in a couple of third-party apps.
On the back, you'll get to see a 20.7MP, 1/2.3-inch sensor with a single LED flash and faster 25mm lens. The rear-facing camera has a 20.7-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). The ISO sensitivity now has light sensitivity up to ISO 12800.

And for taking video calls, the front-facing camera comes with the same 2.2-megapixel resolution sensor. It even support HDR mode. Both dual cameras are capable of shooting 1080p video. Notably, the phone's back camera is capable enough to record 4K videos.

The Xperia Z3 allows you to connect to the PS4 console in order you to play games without using your TV screen. It's a great added feature. If someone is watching TV but you really want to play a game on your PS4, you can use Remote Play to take the session to a different area of the house.
