Top 10 Smartphones Expected To Launch At MWC 2014

Mobile World Congress (MWC), 2014's biggest tech show, is about kick off starting February 24th. The biggest names in the tech industry ( Smasung, Nokia and Sony) will be unveiling their latest tech toys at this year's MWC 2014.

Amid all the hype and expectations, Samsung electronics, in particular, is said to write history by coming up with its most talked about handset, the Galaxy S5, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC).

A lot has been said and written about the Galaxy S5. The much talked about handset will likely to sport a 5.25-inch 2K display, Exynos Infinity CPU (64-bit), 16MP rear-facing camera, metallic design, large battery life and much more. Reportedly, Samsung has plans to reveal two version of Galaxy S5: one with better exteriors and the other with same polycarbonate plastic body. Rumor has it that the Galaxy S5 will be made available in India by March end or early April.

Beyond the Samsung Galaxy S5, Nokia will be showcasing its first ever Android phone. Yes, you heard it right. The Nokia X aka Normandy is all set to be introduced at this year's MWC tech show. The phone will run customized version of Android; however, consumer won't be able to access Google Play Store. The Nokia X will be priced at par with select low end Android-based phones available in India.

Other than the Nokia X, Japan's biggest consumer electronics company, Sony, might come with a sequel to Xperia Z1 at the MWC 2014. Currently dubbed, the Xperia Z2, Sony's answer to Samsung might land in India around April, according to several reports. Just like the Samsung Galaxy S5, Sony's Xperia Z2 may feature a 5.2-inch 2K display and 3GB of RAM. Moreover, Sony is also rumored to bring Motorola Moto G killer in the market.
