It looks like soon there will hardly be any handsets that will be powered by older than Android KitKat OS. Just recently, with the advent of the Moto E smartphone in India at the price of Rs, 6,999, most of the Indian smartphone vendors are heavily concentrating their energy into producing its latest devices which are flavored with Android KitKat OS.

Smartphone makers like Micromax joined the league soon by announcing its latest Canvas Unite 2 and Canvas Engage which comes powered by the same Android KitKat OS. Moreover, Lava also joined the leak by launching the Iris X1 and its premium arm Xolo also came up with Q600s with the same OS.

Now taking the smartphone pricing to an affordable range, another smartphone vendor in India Celkon launched its latest Campus A35K smartphone with the same OS at the very affordable price of Rs. 2,999. This is the first cheapest Android Kitkat phone available in India.

Moreover, Celkon is not only offering the KitKat OS in the device but also is providing an array of other features like 3G support with Video Calling feature, Dual SIM slot, MicroSD card slot, and Dual camera.

Thus looking at the growing intensity of the low-end Android phones in India, today GizBot has come up with the best and the cheapest Android phones that got launched this week.

The Celkon Campus A35K features a 3.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. It is powered by a 1GHz processor coupled with 512MB of on-board storage, which can be later expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card slot.

There's a 3.2MP rear-facing camera and a VGA quality front- front-facing shooter. The makers have added a 1,400mAh battery fitted inside. The phone measures 10.7mm in terms of thickness and weighs in at 102 grams. Connectivity options on the phone include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm , FM Radio, G, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB, and more.

The phone runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. There's a 2-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a VGA quality front-facing shooter. Connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 2G, dual-SIM, and a 1200mAh battery fitted inside. Unfortunately, it does not support 3G connectivity. It comes in Grey and Midnight Black colors.

The smartphone is quite impressive in terms of camera and the pricing, as it comes with an 8MP rear camera with OmniVision sensor and LED flash and a 3.2 megapixel front-facing shooter as well.

Internal memory is seated at 8GB, however, you will also get an option to expand it up to 32GB via microSD card. Connectivity option includes 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS and obviously it is a Dual SIM handset. Swipe Konnect 5.0 measures 148x74x8.9mm and weighs in at 135 grams, while being powered by a1950mAh battery.

Micromax Unite A092 will hit the market powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of ROM and running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Connectivity options on the smartphone will include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, Dual SIM and GPS, among others. And the makers have added a 1,500mAh battery that's fitted inside.

The handset comes with a 3.5-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor ( MediaTek), coupled with 256MB of RAM and 512MB of internal memory, which can be later expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. The phone runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.

The makers have added an 1100mAh battery fitted inside. It also supports micro SIM. On the camera front, there's a 2-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED Flash, accompanied by a VGA quality front-facing shooter. Connectivity options on the phone include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, EDGE, GPRS and GPS. The device is now available in white color.
