Lei Jun's Xiaomi unveiled its latest flagship device Mi Note Pro, in competition to the global-tech giants like Apple, Samsung and others. Xiaomi Note Pro, although it is similar to the Mi Note, it seems to be more powerful and remarkably effective. These devices will be strong competitors to Apple's iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note 4, which are among the most popular phablets in the market. Mi Note Pro is said to be released in the markets around April-June quarter this year.
One of the main market for Xiaomi apart from China is India. This handset manufacturer has so far, launched three devices Mi 3, Redmi 1S and Redmi Note. Its cumulative sales has crossed a million units since the first launch in July last year.
The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro sports 5.7 IPS display of QHD resolution (515ppi) and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset, offers an Octa-core processor with 4x Cortex-A57 at 2.0GHz and 4x Cortex-A53 at 1.5GHz and Adreno 430 GPU and 4GB LPDDR4 RAM.
Further, it has 13MP rear camera features a Sony IMX214 sensor, optical image stabilization and dual-tone flash, 4MP UltraPixel camera for great selfies, 64GB of internal storage and powered by a 3090mAh battery. Xiaomi Mi Note Pro runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop skinned with the latest MIUI launcher.

Xiaomi is famous for two things, the Flash sale and price point of the device. Chinese handset manufacturer is always known for selling a device with kick-ass specifications at affordable cost. Mi Note Pro comes with a huge 4GB LPDDR4 RAM compared to the Note 4 which is 3GB. This LPDDR4 RAM is basically two times faster than a typical DDR3 DRAM and can support UHD video recording and playback, as well as continuous shooting of high-resolution 20MP+ images. And simultaneously boost the performance of devices and be uses batteries efficiently.
Mi Note Pro come with 64GB of internal storage, which is double the size compared to the Note 4's 32GB. Further Xiaomi's Note supports dual SIM slots, while Samsung Note has only one micro SIM slots.
Xiaomi Mi Note Pro is compatible with 4G LTE category 9, which has higher speeds when compared to the Note 4. With the Snapdragon 810 SoC, the Mi Note Pro will be able to download up to 450 Mbps and 100 Mbps upload speed. Meanwhile the Note 4 which is has Snapdragon 805 built has LTE Cat 6, which can download up to 300 Mbps down and 50 Mbps upload speed. Further, Note 4 with home-baked Exynos SoC can go up to 150 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload.
Moving on to the form factor, the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro is carries a dimension of 155.1 x 77.6 x 7mm thickness and weighs around 161grams, while the Note 4 has 153.5 x 78.6 x 8.5mm thickness with 176grams of weight.
Moving a inch forward, Xiaomi employed 2.5D front glass and 3D glass back panel for Mi Note Pro for better grip and fit, while the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has 2.5D front glass, a metal frame, and plastic rear panel.
