A new HTC ICS phone surfaces out in US

HTC is unveiling its new Ice Cream Sandwich Smartphone. Now wondering what the model is going to be is something a bit of a time waste since nothing can be predicted now. No one has got a clue what HTC is up to. Someone was so generous to share some images of the mysterious handset.

Yes a lot can be understood from the images regarding some of the features the phone is possibly loaded with but however it can’t be predicted what it will be called or the carriers it will meet with. Observing the images a 4G LTE logo is visible at the loading screens of the handset. Most surprising they are those which the Verizon uses which means it can be assumed where the phone will end up.

The ICS-powered HTC phone looks very similar to some other models by the company which can be disappointing since a lot more is expected when HTC is announcing a brand new smart phone. The rear part looks a lot like DROID Incredible 2. Now that there isn’t any other HTC in the assembly line having this design, it appears that this is going to be HTC Droid Incredible 3. Or can it be HTC Fireball, which is also a Verizon? No one knows anything at this time.

Now moving on to the specification of the phone that definitely is deducted from the images, it is more like hoping for something better in hardware and software configurations. The hardware information screen shows the phone having a 1.2 GHz dual core Snapdragon processor which will make the phone real powerful in its processing capabilities.

Assisted along is a 1GB RAM that will give a very fluid computing in the handset. Moving on to the camera device in the phone, it has an 8MP camera in its rear. For making it possible to make video calls through the phone, a secondary VGA camera is also provided bundled along with an LTE connectivity facility. According to the sources, the new comer from HTC will feature in it an AMOLED screen, reconsidering the S-LCD display which is usually a regular HTC choice.

Android 4.0.1 Ice Cream Sandwich is what it will run in the core. The RAM and processor are well enabled so as to support such high end operating system. For an enhanced user interface, a Sense UI 4.0 is made available. From the images, the on-screen navigation buttons are absent and hardware are provided instead.

This is just the prototype and so a lot may change when one finally gets their hands on one. It’s expected to hit the stores this year.
