It was known to the gadget world that Acer has plans to launch their flagship cloud technology enabled mobile model during the Mobile World congress which is going to be held in Barcelona in this month. The company has been keeping a tight lipped approach to the details of the phone. But recently a leak has happened and some details and pictures of the device are available in net.
The Smart phone is termed as CloudMobile. The details of the phone came after the device won the iF award for excellence in design. So these details must have been come from Acer itself since they have to reveal something and showcase their award winning device. The pictures available in the net look promising and it is obvious why the phone won the excellence in design award.
The design of the phone is awe inspiring. The phone features a black colour scheme with stainless steel accents. The top and bottom ends of the phone are curved and this gives the device a very beautiful look. The whole front portion has a reflective black finish and there are no physical buttons in the front.
Acer logo is placed just below the screen. The rear portion of the phone houses the camera and flash. The back portion has a matte black colour scheme styling with a subtle pin print texturing. This looks visually very appealing and helps to keep finger prints away. Also it ensures a good grip.
The phone has 9 mm thickness is sufficiently compact. The screen has a size of 4.3 inches and is of high definition type. This large high definition display with whole black colour scheme blends in with the overall design of the phone. It would be a pleasure to enjoy high definition videos and pictures in this screen.
There is no word about the operating system in the device but it will most probably come equipped with Android Ice cream sandwich OS. It will be HSPA+ 3G networks supporting Device. Also one other notable thing is that the phone has integrated Dolby sound functionality. So the user can enjoy high quality audio through the phones Dolby speakers.
The phone is said to be very much integrated with AcerCloud facility. This will make the handset a cloud centric device. If that is the case the user can have as much storage space as required online and also get many other advantages of a cloud centric device. But there will have to be net access available at all times for the proper working of such a device.
There is no word on Acer CloudMobile’sprice tag. The phone might be available in the Q3 2012.
