Galaxy users from across the world have been keenly waiting for a Jelly Bean update ever since they heard that Samsung Galaxy S3 users in Poland received their first Jelly Bean update. But now Samsung has confirmed that the update will reach all Samsung Galaxy S3 users across the world by mid-October.
Company representatives informed that they initially released the update in Poland on a test basis to understand the user’s feedback on the same. The company sources have confirmed that a major Jelly Bean update will happen this month which will bring several significant changes and bug fixes to the high end smart phone.
Users using Galaxy S3 in US however will have to wait for some more time for getting the update. Users can expect to get the updated firmware either through OTA or through Samsung Kies in the device. Samsung has requested its customers to be ready with Wi-Fi connection and 50% battery before applying the update on their respective devices.
Users can expect a host of new features with the latest firmware update in Samsung Galaxy S3. One of the features is the presence of smoother user interface for enjoying animations with higher frame rate. Users will also be able to see new added features such as Google Now and offline voice typing support, which Android fans were waiting for a long time. The notification column has also been expanded to make it look better and informative. Users will now have two different modes for their home screen behaviour.
A few changes are also made in the Settings page. The note app will from now on be replaced with a Memo app.
