Until now, at the IFA 2014 trade show, a large phablet device was quite missing but finally one was announced just a while ago and it comes from Chinese smartphone maker Alcatel. The device which has been unveiled in Berlin at the most awaited tech event of the year is no other than the successor of the OneTouch Hero. It's called the OneTouch Hero 2.
The latest offering from TCL Communication is not only as big as 6-inch but it is also a power horse that utilizes octa core processor and a pretty decent 2GB RAM. Perhaps, the best part of the device would be the pricing, which is not yet announced but surely it wouldn't cost as much as the new flagship devices from Samsung, Sony or even LG.
Wrapped in a aluminum body that provides the phone a premium look, the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 2 also comes integrated with a stylus pen that lets you create memos, professional sketches and more. It has optimized handwriting recognition so that you can take notes easily and also edit office documents on the go.
The Alcatel One Touch Hero 2 comes in Dark Grey color and would go on sale in select markets starting this month itself.
