Alcatel One Touch IDOL X+ Now on Sale in India At Rs 16,999: Top 10 Android Smartphones Rivals

Chinese budget smartphone maker Alcatel OneTouch today launched the Idol X+ in India. Priced at Rs. 16, 999, the premium phone will be available through India's largest online retailer Flipkart. The phone, Alcatel OneTouch Idol X+, will be sold in a special bundle including the Boomband and JBL headphones. The Octa-Core powered phone will directly target the likes of Panasonic P81, Gionee Elife E7 Mini, Lenovo Vibe X, among others.

Alcatel OneTouch Idol X+ features a 5-inch Full HD 1080p display and pixel density up to 441ppi. The device is powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM. The phone runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, while the makers have added a respectable 16 GB and features a 13.1-megapixel Auto Focus rear camera with LED flash. There's a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone is powered by a 2500mAh battery fitted inside.

Alcatel is also offering a Bluetooth-enabled fitness tracking band, simply called the Boomband in the package. Also, add a premium JBL headphone in the package.
