While it seems like most of the rumors related to smartphones and other related technology arise every time from the likes of Apple and Samsung that capture the Internet by storm, Taiwan-based smartphone manufacturer HTC has taken to the web in recent times with second iteration of the popular HTC One.
The all new HTC One - also known as HTC M8 - has been making rounds on the web for quite sometime with a host of leaks and rumors arriving for the same from a number of sources around the planet. Now, keeping up with the trend, more new details about the device have been leaked alongside a certain sales guide that stresses upon the existence of the same.
GSMArena, in a brand new exclusive report, has published the full and detailed specifications of the smartphone that has been obtained via a sales guide. Apparently, the sales guide reveals key details of the HTC One 2014, with more details on how the company is planning to market the device on release.
As revealed via the new leaked sales guide, the new HTC One model is said to measure 146.36 x 70.6 x 9.35 in diameter, making it a bit thicker than its main rivals with the device also weighing in at 160g.
Further corroborating previous rumours and leaks related to the device, the smartphone will arrive with a 5-inch full HD display, a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor and 2,600 mAh battery.
Also, the smartphone has 16 GB of built-in storage - of which 10GB will be user available, while supporting microSD for extra space.
"There's no word on the camera resolution but the rest of the specs appear the same as last year's model - 1/3.0" size, f/2.0 aperture, 2µm pixel size, etc. suggesting the resolution could again be 4 MP," GSM Arena stated in its report.
"According to the guide the video capture is still 1080p and not 4K. There will also be a rapid improvement in the front-facing camera which will now pack 5MP sensor."
Apart from that, the sales guide has also shed some light on the key apps that sales representatives will offer clients in the markets where the device will eventually go live. These key apps include HTC Sense TV, HTC Sense TV Sports and HTC Match.
