Back in 2013, Samsung treated its fans by launching a unique Android smartphone that doubles as a standalone camera. Although, the device itself wasn't that great but it surely caught the eye of some users.
With an aim to target niche audience, Samsung might probably launch a successor to the original Galaxy S4 Zoom in the coming days to come.
Now that the makers behind Note 3 are all set to release their latest flagship handset, the Galaxy S5, across the world including India, it seems that Samsung's next big-ticket handset will be none other than but the Galaxy S5 Zoom.
According to a new report, Samsung is indeed planning a sequel to the Galaxy S4 Zoom. The leaked information comes from some hand-written notes; though, what's more important here is the leaked specs sheet of the purported device.
The biggest change we would get to see when the Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom arrives in the form of a slimmer body. The device is also expected to feature a bigger 20-megapixel CMOS lens with optical image stabilization. Further, the report, states that the handset will lose the hump but still come with a 10x optical zoom facility.
Moreover, the Galaxy S5 Zoom would feature a 4.8-inch 720p HD display, 1.6GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.4 Kitkat and a Xenon Flash. Previous reports in the past had suggested an Exynos 5 Hexa processor.
Unfortunately, we've no information in respect to device's design and exact dimensions. In fact, there is no world on pricing or retail availability as well. It seems that we've to wait a little longer to get to see the device live in action.
