Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean: LG Optimus L7 Indian Owners Receive the Update

LG has started rolling out Jelly Bean update for Optimus L7 devices in India. The handset was released in June, 2012, running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The update brings a number of new changes and enhancements including project butter, enhanced responsiveness, constant frame rate via Vertical Sync, improved notification system, Google Now, improved NFC support, WPS support and more. There is news that the update will not be rolled out Over The Air (OTA). You will need to download LG MOBILE SUPPORT TOOL to download and instal the update, which bares the build number JZ054K. It is highly recommended that you backup your mobile data before you start updating the phone.
