After lots of problems and delays, the operating system company Cyanogen has finally started rolling out the Android 5.0 based Cyanogen OS 12 for the OnePlus One users and it is available Over-the-Air (OTA).
As per the Cyanogen team, this update brings Lollipop improvements and as well as Cyanogen OS tweaks to the smartphones.
In this update you will see changes in the material design, Cyanogen email app powered by Boxer, along with the App Themer, which will allow to use the theme for individual application, motion and interaction design.
This new email experience provides benefits that were previously missing from the built-in mail app. It has Exchange support, multiple account integration, and canned responses for quick replies.
"The material design language implemented for Lollipop now makes its way across our Cyanogen operating system. Taking on the material design elements of visual, motion and interaction design, Cyanogen OS has never looked better," wrote Cyanogen team in a blog post.
This update will be also available for the Indian version of the OnePlus One smartphone. Currently, the 64GB OnePlus One is available in Sandstone Black and 16GB is available in Silk White, through Amazon using the invite system.
Both models are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 4G support and large 5.5-inch screen. They feature a 13 megapixel rear camera and 3100 mAh LiPo battery.
