Exclusive: Apple iPhone 5S, 5C Will Launch in India By End of November

On September 20, Apple newbies, iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C were released in top selected markets around the globe. However, the Indian Apple fanboys were clueless about when will the new iPhones hit the shelves of the native market.

Good news is that today GizBot has got some exclusive information related to the price and availability of iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C in India.

Few days back, GizBot got in touch with Sunil Kuttam, VP-Data and Devices, Aircel and the leading telecom firm's senior official has exclusively informed us that Aircel is going to be one of the telecom partners of the Apple new iPhones in India.

Besides, the senior executive over at Aircel also disclosed that the service provider will be able to offer iPhone 5S and 5C in the market by the end of November 2013.

Moreover, the official also revealed that the Apple iPhone 5C will cost consumers around Rs 45,000, whereas the iPhone 5S 32GB will priced $100 more, around Rs 55,000. At the same time, it was informed that the carrier provider will introduce bundle /benefit offers for the newest iPhones.

With this, the senior executive confirmed that Apple iPhone 5C would not be priced under Rs 30,000 in the Indian market.

iPhone 5S - Key Specifications

The iPhone 5S, is a classic looking device having a 4-inch Retina Display. Now it is powered by A7 chipset - based on 64-bit PC architecture. RAM stands at 1GB and 16GB/32GB/64GB of ROM comes out of the box. Apple iPhone 5S is 56 % faster than the original iPhone launched back in 2007. There's a dedicated chip called M7 for motion sensing activities.

The addition of fingerprint sensor will surely appeal to enterprise segment. Apple has also made changes in the camera. The 8-mega pixel camera is said to be more advance. Dual LED flashlight is a welcome move. The rear back camera can record 720p HD movie in 120fps. The tech vendor also upgraded front facing camera.

iPhone 5C - Key Specifications

Apple "iPhone 5C"is not a low cost iPhone by any means. Yes, it is expensive, and would not help the company to tap unexplored market. Apple says that iPhone 5C is more close to iPhone 5. The new iPhone is made of plastic, and has a bigger battery compared to iPhone 5. The iPhone 5C packs a 4-inch Retina display. The phone is powered by Apple A6x chipset (dual core).

There's an 8MP rear facing camera alongwith much improved FaceTime HD camera. Both iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C, now supports 4G LTE (TD-LTE). If you have subscribed to Airtel's 4G LTE service, then yes, newer iPhones are compatible with Indian 4G LTE networks. iOS 7, the redefined and new version of iOS will power Apple iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C.
