WWDC 2014 concluded without any new Apple device. Instead the Cupertino-based giant focused on iOS 8 due to arrive later this year. This makes us to believe that Apple has reserved September-October time frame specifically for some hardware related announcement.
In fact Brian White, an analyst with the Cantor Fitzgerald financial services firm, recently said that there will be a 5.5-inch iPhone tipped for September launch, alongside the speculated iWatch. Rumors have it that Apple will finally release its iPhone 6 in two variants: one with the 4.7-inch display and the other with a massive 5.5-inch screen.
When it comes to the forthcoming iPhone 6, there have been a number of confirmed leaks. Today leaked cases designed for the iPhone 6 reveals few intriguing details about the design of the upcoming smartphone. The latest leak has been originated in Thailand, all thanks to an unknown blog site dubbed CookieCoffee (via BGR), which claims to have got its hands on a pair of next-generation iPhone cases.
In the images above, the tipster shows the pair of iPhone cases in different sizes. The pink colored case is said to be made for the 4.7-inch model and the hard plastic version seems to be intended for a large screen model, most likely to measure 5.5-inches. In one of the images, one can also see an Apple iPhone 5S being used to illustrate size difference.
With the latest iOS 8 update set to be made available on iDevices later this fall, it is widely suspected that Apple might launch the iPhone 6 in September- October time frame. Apple will most likely announce next-generation iPhone with an A8 64-bit processor, the Touch ID scanner, and massively improved camera optics.
