Apple iPhone 6 Plus First Look: Camera and Video
Each year a new iPhone comes, it offers camera sensors that are better than what it was a year back. And the camera offering in the new iPhone 6 Plus has surely lived up to that. The iPhone 6 Plus sports a new 8MP iSight camera on its rear and a 1.2MP front FaceTime HD snapper.
The camera on the back of the iPhone 6 Plus protrudes slightly from surface of the handset, and shows that indeed Apple attempted to make the handset as thin as possible. Apart from that, the lens is guarded with a sapphire glass panel, offering the handset some tough protection.
On an overall, Apple this year is focusing on its camera in terms of video management. While continuous stabilisation and autofocus remain as the newest additions, the camera's slo-motion effect can be regulated between 120fps and 240fps. And as always, the camera app has been kept simple and free of any kind of complications, although that means limited number of options for you to make use of.
This time around, there are more controls on screen than ever before. For instance, you can tap and hold to lock the focus, while exposure can still be adjusted by tapping a slider that appears for it. However, it is highly recommended that you download and install a third part app for the same if you are of the group that likes more options to play with.
