Apple's growth in the smartphone business has been exceptional. And that has grown since the time the first iPhone from the company became reality. We have come a long way from when Steve Jobs said that his company won't be interested in making phones ever.
Apple's latest focus is on releasing the next generation iPhone 6 smartphone, which will be a step up from the handset that was outed by Google previous to this. And apparently, leaks and rumors related to the device have been abundant.
This week, keeping the trend up with what we have seen previously, more rumors have surfaced to point toward the possible existence of the device. And by the looks of it, things are getting pretty interesting with more enthusiasm building up on what we will eventually see from the Cupertino-based tech giant.
This week, in particular, we saw new iPhone 6 rumors arrive from a host of sources including leaks from a pop star, analysts and even case makers. And it seems none of them can't wait longer to start selling iPhone 6 cases later this year.
But which were the ones that took our imagination in the process? We take a look at the top 5.
This was a week of leaks and comparisons all over. Similarly, the iPhone 6 size comparisons came out with multiple photos showing an iPhone 6 with a 4.7-inch display next to an iPhone 6 with a 5.5-inch display. The photos came via Sonny Dickson, who posted them on Twitter early in the week.
There was a recent report from the Economic Daily News which claimed to reveal the iPhone 6 screen sizes and as to which if the devices will include Sapphire screens. It said that not only the next iPhone will arrive in 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models, but there will be sapphire on 5.5-inch Gorilla Glass on 4.7-inch iPhone 6.
There was yet another set of leaked photos that showed a comparison of the iPhone 6 against the iPhone 5s, using a iPhone dummy unit similar to the ones we saw in the comparison between both the iPhone 6 models. Interestingly, you will see rounder corners for all the leaked renditions of the device.
In case you missed out, there was a rather interesting video that was making rounds showing off how the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 model compares to the Galaxy Note 3 with a 5.7-inch display. Apparently, the video also showed the new LG G3 with a 5.5-inch display. Check it for yourself.
This one remains the same, making us yet again firmly believe that Apple is indeed considering to launch the device soon, keeping up with its trend in the past. As of now, going by the rumors, the iPhone 6 release date is set to be at the end of Q3 (September).
