Apple iPhone Air Launch Reportedly Delayed Until 2015
Apple iPhone Air has had a rundown of rumors with the latest update for the same being rather depressing. Reports around the iPhone 6 continue to attempt to leak that Apple is expected to reveal a large size phablet later this year.
Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI securities recently revealed that Tim Cook managed Apple will soon reveal a 5.5-inch iPhone 6 phablet. The analyst further expects that this year we'll probably see two versions of the iPhone 6: one with a 4.7-inch screen and the other one with a 5.5-inch display.
However, all of the sudden it appears that Apple is having a hard time producing the iPhone Air, citing manufacturing issues. A report coming straight out of Taiwan suggest that Apple iPhone Air could be delayed to 2015 or even later next year. This rumor may not go down well with true Apple fans, as after all everyone is waiting to see the iPhone 6 phablet in action.

According to the latest report, Apple suppliers are having a difficult time producing a battery for the Apple iPhone 6 phablet. The device in question carries a 5.5-inch display, and it requires battery which is not more than 2mm thin. Generally, a normal smartphone battery found under the hood is anywhere between 2.8mm to 2.9mm thick. The issue is so big that Apple has to forcefully stop producing the iPhone Air.
Apple has been the subject of the rumor mills following the coming of the iPhone Air. Earlier this year, a report from Korea claimed that Apple's next iPhone will be just 6.6mm thick. The report also mentioned the name: iPhone Air.Furthermore, the phone will be made out of metal and will weigh on a higher side. Since then we've been hearing a lot more stories about the iPhone 6 phablet.
Apple could announce the iPhone 6 at this year's Worldwide Developers conference(WWDC), scheduled to happen between June 2-6, in San Francisco. Stay tuned to GizBot for more updates!
