The iPhone 6 is here, but what about the iPhone Edition? It may seem factious to some, but you'll be surprised to know that the Russian designer Grisha Serov has imagined a new iPhone Edition concept. And the best part - the concept phone indeed looks absolutely incredible and breathtaking.
The designer believes that the next-generation iPhone would find similarities to the iPhone 3GS, at least, in respect to the design. Servo also predicts that the home button will be completely ditched, and this does seem logical.
The release date of the iPhone 7 is pegged at the end of 2015 just like previous iPhone rumors. However, Apple has not commented on the rumors pertaining to the next-generation iPhone.
In the meanwhile, check out the concept in the slideshow below, and do let us know what you think about the Apple iPhone Edition concept smartphone by Grisha Serov. Stay tuned to GizBot for more updates!
Design that matters
The steel casing of the device definitely catches your attention. The iPhone Edition may sport a smaller form factor compared to the existing model. It will also comes with thin slim bezel.
No more home button
The Russian designer perceives that the home button on the device will be removed completely, instead the physical home button on top of the phone will have the Touch ID functionality. It will act as the Touch ID, Home, Wake/Sleep button
Single Volume Button
Not just basic cosmetic changes, there will be major changes being made the way we use the volume button. As opposed to the existing volume key, the new single volume button doubles as the mute switch of the phone.
iPhone 6 Mini
The iPhone Edition conceived by the Russian designer has a smaller 4.5-inch screen, instead of a regular 4.7-inch display on the iPhone 6. However, it is strange to think that whether Apple will again make a smaller size iPhone.
Lighter than existing iPhones
The iPhone Edition concept smartphone is lighter than the current generation iPhones. It is even slimmer and lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. With every new iPhone, Apple is trying to make slimmer devices. So the next-gen iPhone could be insanely slimmer.
