The Cupertino-based giant has been taking long time to atleast announce their maiden TV set. Well, this very year, one could see an Apple made TV making your traditional LED TVs redundant. There is also a possibility of an iPhone 6 with a large 4.8-inch screen to be debut next year in the month of June. Is Mr. Cook hiding something ‘magical' for a long time? Will Apple's long rumored TV set brings back the company back in fashion? Only time will tell.
Apple iTV - Is it a proper sized TV or just another $99 Apple TV?
Apple is longer a secretive company. Every iDevice of the company is destined to be leak long before their original launch. A TV that can run apps with an ease, was the brain child of Steve Jobs. As of now, nothing can be said about the upcoming idevice in regards to its design or features. Until now, Apple TV ($99price tag), was just a hobby device. The real game will start now with a full sized TV set.
In an interview with CNBC, Peter Misek, senior technology analysts at Jefferies, told that that Apple could hold an event next month. That event, in general, could be specific to developers, software and apps.
Apple TV could be a big threat to console gaming, in general. Both Sony and Microsoft are planning launch their next-gen gaming consoles later this year. Microsoft repeatedly told that the next-gen XBOX will be more than a gaming machine. Sony recently said that PlayStation 4 is all about new ways of game play. Is Apple eyeing a bigger role in gaming with its announced Apple TV?
Apple iPhone 6 - Coming June 2014
Apple's bigger screen iPhone might not get fall release date. Due to manufacturing malfunctions, Apple has shifted the release date of iPhone 6 aka "iPhone Math" to June 2014. Peter Misek , the same man who dished out some tempting news about Apple TV, also pointed out at iPhones 6 as well. According to him, Apple will likely to adopt 20nm processor technology. It means a future iPhone will come with either 4 cores or 8 core processor. The Apple iPhone 6 will be stuffed with iOS 7 and may likely to use a new display technology. A bigger iPhone with 4.8-inch display could a reality. This report was published in MacRumors.
Apple TV could bring out much needed change for Apple as well as for its investors. Apple, probably, like to price Apple TV upwards of $1400 (Rs.75,945). The company also plans to release iWatch into the market in 2013.
