Apple iWatch to Adopt Several Different Form Factors: Could Feature More Than 10 Sensors

Apple's habit of always being in the news makes it one of most sought after company on the planet. Be it for the next iPhone or be it for an upcoming iPad, Apple's devices are always on the top of the news list. And now the same is the scenario with Apple's massively rumored iWatch offering.

According to reports, citing "people familiar with the matter," the Wall Street Journal claims that the Apple-made iWatch will arrive in more than one forms. Apparently, the device is said to come in several different shapes and sizes.

The publication states that Apple will introduce several screen sizes for the iWatch, and so we are yet to see if the design language of the wearable will stay the sane or that will also change with the fluctuating form factor.

"The smartwatch will likely come in multiple screen sizes, said one person familiar with the matter. Another person at a component supplier said shipments of the smartwatches are estimated to total between 10 million and 15 million units by the end of this year," the WSJ wrote.

"The exact specifications of Apple's smartwatch are still being finalized before mass production starts, said people familiar with the matter."

Apple's smartwatch is currently said to launch as early as October with the device's production also said to begin in two to three months at Quanta Computer Inc., said the people familiar with the matter.

Quanta Computer Inc., of course, is a Taiwanese manufacturer that has been associated with Apple since the days of its Mac computers.

As of now, whatever is being said about Apple's upcoming wearable, has to be taken with a pinch of salt. But more is expected to arrive from the company in the following months.
