Arya Z2 Launched in India at Rs 6,999

One of the latest entrants in the low-end smartphone market is from yet another nascent India-based smartphone maker is Arya. Backed by Salora, which provides after sales service and warranty repairs to a number of leading telecom and IT brands, the company has launched Arya Z2 smartphone in competition with the latest Redmi 1S smartphone in India.

Arya Z2 is priced at Rs 6,999 and is exclusively selling via online retailer Amazon.

As far as the specifications are concerned, Arya Z2 has a 5-inch HD IPS screen, a wide viewing angle with OGS display. The handset is powered by a 1.3 GHZ Quad Core Mediatek (6582A) processor, coupled with1GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat Operating System.

Arya Z2 is also quite capable of taking good images as well. It sports an 8MP auto-focus camera with a Sony BSI sensor that supports HD recording and a host of smart features like smile detection, Voice activated Camera Operation and high speed continuous shooting. At the front it has a he 2MP snapper which can make taking selfies and making video calls easier. The camera is quite similar to the Redmi 1S smartphone.

The smartphone houses 4GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

In terms of connectivity,the Arya Z2 supports EDGE, GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB OTG connectivity. The smartphone supports a micro and regular sized SIM with 3G data connectivity on both SIM cards. It is powered by a 1,800mAh battery.
