Asus Kicks Off 'Live the #ZenLife with Rannvijay' Campaign with PadFone mini

Asus is going big. It's all set to bring a host of smart devices to the market, starting off with the new PadFone mini. The device, alongside a host of others, was showcased at event in Delhi with star Rannvijay of Roadies fame overseeing as the brand ambassador.

The newly introduced campaign for the same called 'Live the #ZenLife with Rannvijay' will see the star experience the Zen life with the Zenfones. The campaign will spread across five weeks with each week bringing a new challenge for Rannvijay.

Asus PadFone Mini In Pictures

The Taiwanese manufacturer has launched its PadFone mini in the country, aiming at a budget phone-tablet combo in India. The device is already available for sale in Flipkart. You can check it out here.

In case you are unaware of the entire concept of the PadFone, it is basically a smartphone, which also comes with a tablet dock. While as a standalone device, the dock is unessential, but its importance comes around once you slide the PadFone smartphone in it, making it a more than handy 3G Android tablet.

"Today's introduction of PadFone Mini marks further extension of the PadFone series which expands our users' world where they will enjoy, achieve and save categorically. It is an alluring proof to substantiate our prime focus on the bringing incredible," said Peter Chang, Regional Head - South Asia & Country Manager - System Business Group - ASUS India.

"We are assertive that PadFone Mini will touch customers' heart and take us a step ahead to deliver what our brand promises," he added. The device is also set to be available in Black and White colour options in the country.

Asus PadFone mini: Highlighted Specifications

As far as specs are concerned, the smartphone part of the Asus PadFone Mini features a 4-inch WVGA display, alongside a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2560 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 1170 mAh battery.

The phone also packs 8GB of internal storage, although running a dated Android 4.3. It offers a microSD card slot and dual-SIM support. On the imaging front, Asus has included 8MP rear camera, and 2MP front shooter on the phone.

The tablet dock, however, comes with a 7-inch HD display and 2100 mAh battery. Apart from that, there is nothing else in the dock as it uses rest of the components from the phone, when docked inside. Alongside, the ZenWatch from the company was also shown off at the event.
