Asus, one among the most innovative company in the digital world always make sure that they present gadgets with some unique features into the market every day. Well, even this time also the company has made sure to maintain the tradition as it has unveiled a new Padfone.
The new gadget will be coming with new style statement and exclusively unique design. Earlier the company has revealed the gadget but there is information that the new one to be launched is completely overhauled. Apart from the change in the design there is also information that the new Padfone will be sporting Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 platform.
Earlier there was news that it will be powered with NVIDIA Tegra 3 Chip. The new one is considered to be more powerful and thus it will help to provide a better platform for the users as far as performance of the gadget is concerned.
However, for someone who is wondering what exactly the Padfone is; the gadget is a tablet which will come with detachable Android smartphone in it. The smartphone will be featuring 4.3 inches display. And the tablet is of 10.1 inches size with capacitive touchscreen facility. It comes along with some facilities such as 5 mega pixel camera which is enhanced with 2592 x 1944 pixels resolution.
The operating system is Android version 3.0 Honeycomb. Other facilities are accelerometer, compass. You also will be benefited with high battery power management system. Along with this entire facilities incorporated tablet, you can also place a smartphone in the tablet.
The gadget was expected to be released in the first quarter on 2012 and it seems like the company has decided to aim for the release in the first quarter itself. There are no more details available on the changes that have been made with the gadget. The company has yet to announce the price of the product.
The company is also expecting more sales by the launch of Padfone from the beginning itself. But it is not sure that how users will be reacting to this product. It is expected that there will be mixed reactions. It is also not sure how people will welcome the idea of docking a smartphone to the tablet.
Well, Asus might be bringing in more flexible and attractive pricing strategies for the users to be happy with or else it will be difficult to convince many of the users according to experts.
