Asus is gearing up for the launch of the Zenfone 2 smartphone in India. As promised, Asus will be releasing its Zenfone 2 in the Indian market on April 13th.
Asus has sent the press invites for the media and shared the teaser image on ASUS India's official Facebook page. In the teaser image it says "It's April 1 and this flagship destroyer is for real."
Previously, Asus said that the ZenFone 2 will be sold without flash sales or invitations, taking a dig at companies like Xiaomi, OnePlus and Lenovo which sell their devices via special flash sales.
According to the report, more than two variants of the Zenfone 2 will be unveiled with either model featuring a 5.5-inch display and 5-inch display.
Recalling the specifications, the Asus Zenfone 2 ZE550ML, features a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1280x720p display, a 1.8GHz Intel Atom Z3560 quad-core 64-bit processor along with 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage.
Meanwhile, the ZenFone 2 ZE551ML has 2.3GHz Intel Atom Z3580 quad-core 64-bit processor along with 4GB RAM, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front snapper, 64GB internal memory, 4G LTE connectivity and powered by a 3000mAh battery.
Most likely the Asus ZenFone 2 with 4G RAM could be priced around Rs. 18,000, and we're expecting the device to be available on Flipkart.
