Asus Zenfone 2, which has made its way to the leaks, is said to carry the mid-range hardware with an affordable price tag. Previously, few days back, Asus has launched the mid-range smartphone code named Asus Zenfone C in to the Indian market at price Rs. 5,999.
As per the reports, this Asus Zenfone 2 is said to flaunt a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. Moreover, the rumors suggests that it will come powered by a Intel Atom processor along side of 2GB RAM. If the rumors turns out to be true, this mid range offering will be shipped with the latest Android Lollipop 5.0 update with updated Zen UI on top.
Moreover, this smartphone will support the 4G connectivity, which will be one of the cheapest offering from the Asus amid other company devices like Xiaomi and Lenovo. As there is not enough information available about the phone right now, we are expecting it to be launched on the upcoming Mobile World Congress event, which will be held from March 2-5 in Barcelona, Spain. On the other report, it says, it will be unveiled on March 9th in Red color variant, with more colors possible.
Running Android Lollipop with LTE connectivity and an HD display it will certainly be capable of competing with other mid ranged handsets on the market such as the Motorola G and newer models in the making. Anyways we will advice you to take this information with a pinch of salt as the above information is not officially announced.
