Asus ZenFone 5 - Performance
The ZenFone 5 is powered by a 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor and a generous 2GB of RAM, putting in the mid-range category. The phone also offers an 8GB (only 4.99 GB usable) of on-board memory which can be expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card. The Asus ZenFone 5 is a dual-SIM device (GSM+GSM.
We'd like to clarify that the phone's performance could be underwhelming, based on our experience. At the same time, we also like to mention that the device handed over to us was not the final version, so expect a slightly better performance when the handset hits the retail market.
If you are a gamer, the ZenFone 5 isn't the best phone to shoot some baddies or race against the world. Based out on our experience and testing, we have faced a lot of issues. Of course you can play major casual games, but when it comes to hard-core racing games, the phone failed to run them.
