Talking about the features, the latest Zenfone series come with a Power Saving mode which will offer a long battery life for all-day use and with a low-power Intel Atom processor and power-efficient antenna design, ZenFone 5 combines class-leading performance with long battery life.

Also another feature in the phone that Asus boasts about, is the excellent image quality from PixelMaster, which is a unique Asus-developed technology that combines software, hardware and optical design to deliver incredible image quality.

Competition

Asus might have used much of its resources designing the latest Zenfone series, but in terms of hardware, it doesn't have as good spec sheet as the ones that are being launched in India offlate. At the given price point, most of the devices currently selling in India features quad core processor and run Android KitKat OS.

Hence, Asus ZenFone 5 will have to rival against a number of smartphones like Lava Iris X1, Xolo Q600s, Micromax Unite 2 and others. And another recent entrant in the Indian sub-continent is the Mi3 from Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi which comes with high-end specs and could be a tough rival to defeat.
