Asus Zenfone 5 with 2GB RAM, 8MP Camera Launched at Rs 7,999

Asus has released its new Zenfone 5 (A501CG) on the E-retail store Flipkart for Republic day. Previously, the 8GB variant of Zenfone 5 smartphone is now available for Rs. 8,999 for limited period. It was originally launched at INR 9,999, but recently got a price-cut to INR 9,499.

Asus Zenfone 5 sports a 5-inch capacitive multi touch display with Corning gorilla glass 3 protection with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is clocked at 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor alongside 2GB RAM. Further, this device has 8GB of built-in memory which can expandable up to 64GB via microSD card slot.

This dual SIM (GSM+GSM) comes with 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front-facing camera and runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, upgradable to Android 4.4 (KitKat) along with Zen UI on top of it. The smartphone is built with 10.34 mm thickness and weighs around 145grams.

Moreover the connectivity option includes, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and powered by a 2110mAh battery.
This new Asus Zenfone 5 (A501CG) will be available exclusively on e-retail store Flipkart from Jan 21 (today) at a price of Rs. 7,999 in Black and White variant.
