Asus has just unveiled a brand new smartphone in the Malaysian market, dubbed as Zenfone C ZC451CG. It is based on Android v4.4 KitKat OS and priced around INR 6,000. Mainly a budget device that has just had a limited release in few markets around the world.
Asus Zenfone C is quite like the Zenfone 4 A450CG and is expected to replace the existing Zenfone 4 series.
The Zenfone C flaunts a 4.5 inch FWVGA IPS display, 480 x 854 pixels screen resolution, 1.2 GHz dual-core Atom Z2520 processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB ROM and external memory extendable up to 64 GB. It also includes a 5 MP primary camera at the rear and a front facing 0.3 MP lens. It boasts of a 2100 mAh battery and will be available in red, white and black color options.

Asus Zenfone C has a dimension of 136.5 x 67 x 10.9 mm and weighs about 149 grams.
While the handset has been launched in Malaysia, there's still no word if it will be launched in India. However, Asus has just launched a new variant of the Zenfone 5 in India, last week - A501CG, at a price tag of INR 7,999.
