Bee mobile is a small mobile phone manufacturer and is not so much heard of in this sector. But recently they have released their Android powered handset which is termed as Bee 7100. This mobile is presently launched in United Arab Emirates through Axiom Telecom. It can be expected in online retail stores too soon.

It seems like Bee mobiles have set a new benchmark for affordable Android powered devices. The mobile phone offers good value for the customer’s money.

The phone comes in a very simple yet beautiful design. The corners are rounded up where as the edges are straight. The front portion of the phone consists of navigation buttons and call buttons. The Bee mobile logo is placed just above the display in front.

This is one of the most cheapest yet feature packed android device available out there in the market. It works on Android Froyo 2.2 version which may seem like slightly outdated but it will be upgradeable to 2.3 operating system in the near future. The display packs in enough resolution. The small down side is that the screen is of resistive type. So the touch has to be a bit firm in order for the command to get registered. But a capacitive display cannot be expected from a device having this much price tag. The 2 mega pixel camera can be up graded to 3.2 mega pixels by a software update. Whether this is the Ginger bread firmware upgrade or just a software update is not known.

Bee 7100 comes with a price tag of about Rs.5,500/- in India. It does not come with very cutting edge spec but there is much more features than what is expected from a device in this price range. So if you are on the lookout for an affordable android device then this is surely the device for you.
