Beetel To Launch Android 2.3 Smartphone
It was last week when Beetel launched its tablet Magiq and thus made a debut in the tablet market. The tablet is a good one and is reported to have achieved a good appreciation among the customers. The company clearly stated its mission to bring out new generation smart devices by announcing its smart phone launch in October which will be followed by the LTE device launch.
The new mobile phone will be an Android 2.3 based Smartphone, said the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Beetel, Mr. Vinod Sawhny. According to him, the Android 2.3 based Smartphones and an LTE device will be launched in October. He expressed his high hopes for the devices designed by the design and development team of Beetel. The devices are intended to change the landscape of mobile market in India.
The price range of the devices was not revealed at the event, but the Executive Director has assured that the devices will be affordable to all. Mr. Vinod Sawhny at the event also said that company is giving top priority to make the products much more affordable. As a beginning, the Android 2.3 smart phones will have its price rates limited to an estimated price range of Rs 9,000. Though the specifications and configurations of the new mobile phone are not announced by the manufacturers, reports from the sources indicate that the smartphone will feature a powerful processor running on a Qualcomm 1 GHz Snapdragon processor. The handsets will have a 3.2 inch display which is quite large for a phone giving a better outlook to the device.
The latest phone is fully loaded with general Android smartphone features and applications. The phone being Android will definitely come preloaded with utilities like Google Maps and G sensors. The device will be capable of downloading applications from the Android market.
